Frequently asked

  • Does my membership renew automatically?

    Yes — dues are billed as an annual subscription and renew automatically each year on the same date. You'll get an email reminder before each renewal, and you can cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal linked in your confirmation email.

  • Why do you need my address?

    Membership is limited to New Kent County residents. Your address confirms residency and determines which voting district you're assigned to for board reference — it isn't shared or published. Non-resident members cannot serve on the Executive Board.

  • Can I pay by check instead of online?

    Yes — contact the Treasurer to arrange payment by check or cash at a general meeting. Non-Stripe memberships are activated manually and won't auto-renew.

  • Is my payment secure?

    Payments are processed through Stripe's secure, hosted checkout page. The League never stores your card details.
